Noida based hand-set maker, Ringing Bells, will be launching the world's cheapest smartphone - the Made in India Freedom 251.

The company is now offering it's latest innovation at an unbelievable Rs 251(Less than $4).
Here's what we know about the Freedom 251 smartphone:

* The Freedom 251 powered by android Lollipop, 5.1 has a 4-inch(10.2 cms) qHD IPS display which it says promises good quality pictures, videos & games

* Rear camera: 3.2 MP & the front camera 0.3 MP

* Compatible with 3G mobile network

* Processor: 1.3 GHz Quadcore processor

* Memory: 1GB RAM & 8GB internal memory, expandable upto 32 GB with SD card support

* Comes with a 1450 mAh battery

* Pre-installed apps include Swachh Bharat, Women Safety, Fisherman, Farmer, Medical, Google Play, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter & a few others

The company on its website stated it is offering a 1-year warranty on the product & that there would be 650-plus pan-India service centres.

Booking starts on the company's website from 6 AM on February 18 and ends on February 21 at 20:00 hours.

One important dampener could be the expected delivery date, which has been mentioned as June 30 in advertisements.
